Yeah, just got the OST for the series and it's quite good, much better than I remember the music being while I was actually watching.
Still a cool show, even if just for how seriously it takes its concept.
This gave me an erection.

Wow, fun week.
Got to see one of those midnight screening of The Dark Knight. Absolutely amazing film, the Watchmen trailer was also quite mindblowing.
Other than that, my Kyon action figure finally got delivered and I put a bed down in the basement to escape the heat.
Got really distracted recently with movie-watching and/or real-life, so I'm not going to bother posting updates on my status in the MGS games.
I will however post completion times, as I indeed plan on beating the remaining three sometime soon.
5:19 PM: Completed Tanker chapter.

3:09 PM: After countless setbacks and distractions, finished Metal Gear Solid.
Current game: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
10:42 PM: Booted up SoL, currently enduring a trillion cutscenes.
11:11 PM: Defeated Olga, saved.
Total playtime: 8:12 (MGS) 0:31 (MGS2)
8:47 PM: After several pathetic missteps while gathering items, I reach the broken elevator in the communcation tower. Fourth save.
9:48 PM: Finally finished disc one.
9:58 PM: Started disc two, made fifth save.
10:52 PM: Defeated Vulcan Raven, saved.
Total playtime: 5:58 (moving at an embarassingly slow pace)
Current game: Metal Gear Solid
2:54 PM: Successfully infiltrated Shadow Moses, obtained some weaponry, defeated Revolver Ocelot.
3:20 PM: Defeated annoying tank boss, made it to the nuclear warhead storage building, saved and quit.
7:33 PM: Found Otacon, beat Psycho Mantis, currently hunting for a sniper rifle. Saved for the second time and quit.
10:41 PM: Got the PSG-1, battled Sniper Wolf, survived torture. Saved and quit.
Current playtime: 3:44 (taking a bit longer than expected, but I haven't skipped a cutscene or codec call)
Akagi's been quite a gem so far, although Kaiji is a much more likable protagonist. Loving the visual metaphors in this show more, though, even more unsubtle.
Now I'm embarking on a Metal Gear Marathon, gonna play all four MGS games and hopefully complete all of them before the end of the week (shouldn't prove too hard given my past completion times).
